In many cases, we are able to do a removal the same or next-day depending on availability

We can also schedule a removal for a specific date and time, but please be aware that removal appointments are typically within 1-2 hour windows

However we do our best to be as flexible as possible and arrive to you closest to the time that works best for you

We offer free removal for furniture that is in good-to-excellent condition

For items that require extensive repair or cannot be put back on the market, we can provide cheap paid removal

– The number of items being removed
– The overall weight of all of the items
– The distance from us to your location
– What floor level the items are on
– If an elevator must be used

– If it’s a long carry from your door to where we must park

It is imperative that the furniture we put back on the market is thoroughly inspected and assessed how much it can be restored to ensure that the next family who receives it is given a quality item

Some major factors that will disqualify your furniture from being removed for free are:

• Fleas, Bed Bugs or other similar parasites/insects
• Excessively faded fabric
• Items that have been left outside in the elements for too long
• Broken framing/structuring
• Rips/tears that require extensive reupholstery
• Too many or too large permanent stains
• Large chips, scratches cracks or splits in wood
• Worn out or broken seat springs
• Excessive fabric pilling
• Animal or human blood, urine or feces stains or odor
• Cigarette odor or burn marks
• Mold

Please describe any damages for each item. Some examples include:

– Fabric: scratches, rips, tears, holes, color fading, pilling, loose threading, material wear, stains, parasites/insects, odors, burn marks, chew marks, dog hair, cat claw marks

– Frame: broken structuring, very dusty or dirty, missing hardware, food crumbs

– Wood: chips, marks, scratches, stains, clear coat wear, splitting, stickers, color fading, material wear, oxidation, liquid marks, cup rings, bubbling, raised or sunken wood, warping

– Glass: scratches, chips, cracks, cloudy, oxidation, desilvering/dark spots

– Metal/Steel: Rust, tarnishing, warping, corrosion, scratches, color fading, material coating flaking

– Miscellaneous: If it’s been sitting outside and how long, exposed to rain or snow, missing pieces (glass panels, cushions, doors)

In some instances, we are able to do the necessary cleaning and repairs to put the item back onto the market at a substantial discount

If the item must be discarded, then we deconstruct whatever useable materials we can salvage for future repairs

Lastly, whatever we cannot reuse is sorted for either metal recycling, the landfill or is burned
